In Spelling, we have been learning about the origins and meanings of different words for our Etymology study. The word I chose to research is Holiday. I found that the meaning of holiday is very interesting. Check out my Etymology slide to see what  research I have done.

For writing I’ve written a story about a polar bear walking through the Arctic. In my story we focused on using interesting vocabulary and sentences. I have also used AI to make a polar bear photo to match my story.

In maths this term we have been focusing on learning strategies for addition and subtraction. For Matariki, I have created a star constellation and used my addition strategies to calculate the total distances.
